Position: Lifeguard for remainder of season Location: Harbor Springs, MI Job Id: 1001 # of Openings: 1 Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is currently seeking a Lifeguard to work the remainder of Summer Season This position does require the candidates to be Lifeguard training certified. Job Type: Part-time seasonal Seasonal Benefits: Free lunch and dinner meals provided during shifts Free golf Uniforms tops provided Discounts on golf shop merchandise Employee appreciation Job Summary: The Lifeguard will ensure swimmers safety in the pool area and administer first aid or lifesaving techniques when needed. Duties/Responsibilities: Ensures that the rules and regulations of the swimming pool are followed to maintain a safe swimming environment. Administers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and uses automated external defibrillator (AED) when needed. Contacts emergency medical personnel when a serious injury occurs. Confirms Membership with guests entering the pool Provides swimming lessons when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Must be at least 16 years old. Must possess the following certifications from the Red Cross or other equivalent agency: lifeguard training, CPR, AED, and first aid. Schedule: Flexible Weekend availability Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is a private member owned association with approximately 900 members. We are located in beautiful Harbor Springs, a Northern Michigan treasure on the shore of Lake Michigan.
